Successful Post-Merger Integration Efforts Builds Leadership
A merger of two electric utilities created one of the nation's largest energy providers. The new organization was challenged with integrating two different business strategies, disparate corporate cultures, two geographies and two different regulatory environments — all in the midst of an industry experiencing transformational change. Viewed as a combination of equals, the merger brought together strong personalities in two CEOs who each had successful histories.
