Supplemental coverage to the OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) is provided by RHR. The coverage includes major medical, dental, life, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), and long term disability (LTD). This policy also provides employees and their eligible dependents with emergency coverage when they are traveling outside of their country of residence.
Major Medical
The medical benefits under this policy carry an unlimited lifetime maximum per insured individual. Qualified dependents are also eligible for coverage by this policy. Dental, vision (including eyeglasses) and travel insurance are included.
Life Insurance Coverage
Group Term Life insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment are provided with the annual premium paid for by the company. Dependent life insurance is also available.
Disability Coverage
RHR’s short and group long term disability plans provide financial protection for you by paying a portion of your income if you become disabled.
Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan
RHR makes a monthly contribution to a Group RRSP. You may also contribute a percentage of your monthly income to the plan, in addition to the RHR contribution.
