The first step in effecting truly accelerated executive development is to accurately define and assess the right leadership criteria, based on where the business is going. We develop a business-linked winning formula that articulates the leadership and management behaviors required to drive the business, and we utilize a multi-modal assessment process that determines an executive’s strengths and needs. From there, we architect and implement a customized development experience that moves individuals from the current to desired future state. We create a Development MapSM to guide implementation, aligning the executive, managers and HR business partners around actionable success criteria, tailored development experiences and real-time progress checks. Targeted, ROI-based measurement of progress is an important element of what we do in our Accelerated Executive Effectiveness practice. RHR follow-up and progress tracking methods include shadowing, coaching, stakeholder feedback and periodic “pulse checks.”
