RHR International Appoints Orla Leonard as Practice Leader of “Senior Team Effectiveness” Service
RHR International (RHR) has announced the appointment of Orla Leonard as its new practice leader for the service “Senior Team Effectiveness”. She has assumed responsibilities from David Astorino, who continues as Senior Partner, overseeing all of RHR’s Practices and Research & Development.
Leonard is a partner in RHR’s London office, with more than 15 years at the firm. Leonard focuses on enabling senior teams to align around a compelling organizational agenda and adopting the leadership behavior necessary to execute it. She works with CEOs and their teams to upgrade the performance of the operating board.
Said Astorino, “Orla is highly sought after by her clients because of her ability to combine caring with ‘speaking truth to power’. She is a strong contributor to the Senior Team Effectiveness practice, and has worked extensively with C-suite leaders and their teams.”
Prior to RHR, Leonard worked as a principal psychologist for team development. Leonard was awarded a bachelor’s degree (Hons) from University College Dublin, Ireland, and received a master’s degree in occupational psychology from the Queen’s University, Belfast. She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. She is a registered member of the Health Professions Council and an accredited coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching.
