David Langdon



David is a partner in the London office. Initially based out of the Denver office, he spent three years working in the U.S. side of the business.

As a consultant for more than 20 years, David has worked in a range of sectors, including automotive, aviation, banking, engineering, UK central government, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and television production. David has helped CEOs and senior teams—from large multinational companies to entrepreneurial start-ups—successfully improve the human side of performance within their businesses. Prior to joining RHR International, David led teams of psychologists at several consulting firms in both the United Kingdom and United States. Previously, he put his knowledge of psychology and human behaviour to work in his role as an operational police detective. David received numerous commendations for his detective acumen from the Metropolitan Police Service in London and led several high-profile, complex fraud cases to successful conclusion.

Over the years David has been tapped to contribute as a subject matter expert on numerous leadership topics for publications and media outlets, including BBC Radio and the Harvard Business Review.

David received a BSc (Hons) degree in psychology from the Open University in the United Kingdom and a master’s (MSc) degree in occupational psychology from City University in London. He achieved Chartership (professional) status with the British Psychological Society (BPS) in 1998. In 2011, David was elected as an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS) in recognition of his work in the field of business psychology.
