RHR Promotes Four to Expanded Roles
CHICAGO – September 1, 2017. RHR International, the premier firm in the development of top management leadership of Global 1000 companies, today announced that Simon Callow, Steven Madenberg, Deborah Rubin, and Chris Treadwell have been promoted to expanded roles, effective immediately.

I am equally pleased that Simon, Steve, and Chris have been promoted to Senior Partner. Each of these individuals has been a major contributor to our clients’ success, and we are fortunate to have all four taking on significant responsibility around firm leadership”, said Dante Capitano, President and CEO of the firm.
- Simon Callow, MSc, C.Psychol, joined RHR International’s London office in 2010, and has responsibility for this region. He brings 20 years of experience in the design and delivery of leadership and organizational behavioral initiatives, specializing in executive coaching, building effective senior executive teams, and assessing and developing high-performing leaders. Prior to RHR International, Simon led the northern European region of a large global consulting firm, where he provided senior executive assessment and development services to clients across the region. He was also an adjunct facilitator for the Centre for Creative Leadership and started his career working in marketing. Simon has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, was awarded a master’s degree in occupational psychology from East London University, and is a Chartered Psychologist. He is also a founding member of the British Psychological Society coaching division.
- Dr. Steven Madenberg joined RHR International’s New York office in 2003. Steve has responsibility for RHR’s United States Eastern Region. In this role, he leads RHR’s business presence and consulting teams in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Steve has been a talent advisor to many Fortune 500 companies, working with Boards and senior management to enhance the strength of leaders, teams and organizations. Prior to joining RHR International, Steve was the executive vice president of RFG, a New York firm specializing in management consulting to the retail sector. He has also headed up the organizational assessment practice for Morehead Associates Inc. Steve received a B.A. from Allegheny College, a master’s degree in psychology from The College of William and Mary, and a Ph.D. in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida, where he instructed in the areas of statistics, organizational behavior, and social psychology. He is also a licensed psychologist in the state of New York and a member of the American Psychological Association.
- Dr. Deborah Rubin joined RHR International’s Philadelphia office in 1996. She specializes in CEO succession, senior executive and senior team development, and managing and implementing organizational change. Deborah serves executives in a wide range of settings, from family-owned businesses to large multi-billion-dollar multinational corporations. She has worked in industries including retail, travel, high-tech, energy, food and food service, and manufacturing and mining. Prior to RHR, Deborah worked in the business sector for a number of years. Deborah received her master’s degree and Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. She received a bachelor’s degree from Duke University. She is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and a member of the American Psychological Association’s Society of Consulting Psychology. In her expanded role, she will join Paul Winum as Co-Head of RHR’s Board & CEO Services practice area.
- Dr. Chris Treadwell joined RHR International’s Western Region in 2001, and he has responsibility for the region. His expertise in the evaluation of group dynamics allows him to assist companies in resolving team and organizational issues, including improved functioning at the board of director level and assisting high-potential executives advance to positions of increased responsibility through a thoughtful process of assessment, deployment, and development. Before joining RHR International, Chris held a number of senior international management roles during his ten years with WordPerfect Corporation and Novell. Chris received a bachelor’s degree cum laude in accounting from Brigham Young University. He earned master’s and doctoral degrees in combined clinical and counseling psychology from Utah State University. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society of Consulting Psychology, and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
